Zimba Marimba Band is deeply grateful to the musicians that have inspired and taught us over the years, especially Tipei Marazanye, a brilliant marimba player and teacher from Zimbabwe. His extensive knowledge and friendship has enriched and developed our large marimba repertoire. Over the years we have also worked with Rujeko Dumbutshena, Alport Mhlanga, Martin Svensson, Man Luckerz, Mzwakhe Hlatswayo, Max Soumah, Soryba Touray, Celso Paco, Michael Breez and many other musicians with whom we have come into contact during our various visits to Africa.
